I'm really happy with the product.
As other mentioned, you will need to tweak the pad with VIA. Some research and trial an error will be required to make it behave the way you want.
For macro, know you need at least 18ms for reliable key stroke. More if if affect mutiple pages or screens.

I use the Macro Pad as a custom quick editor for Davinci resolve. The knobs are incredibly useful for timeline traversal and linear edits. It's also been very useful for photo editing, live streaming, and audio recording. A big draw is being able to swap between presets for different applications.

The pad is very well made and feels worth the asked price tag. And it's very easy to customize the keys.

I recommend this product if you're will to spend some time setting it up and experimenting with custom layouts. A macro pad is only as useful as it's programming. Via is easy to figure out, just have some direction before picking up this product.
