• Color Scheme

A city has its own life and unique color.  We applied 3 colors - grey, pink, blue - to portray the beauty of city under different situations and convey different messages.

Grey: Realistic, simplistic

With the aim to accurately and aesthetically portray the features of global cities, our mat meticulously delineates the contour lines of square city blocks, stretching highways, and winding rivers. Here is a little secret: the moment you put your finger on the mat and point to a corner of the city, the mat will teleport you to the location and your magical journey will begin.

We used grey to demonstrate the historical magnanimity and accuracy on the map.

Pink: Vibrant, dynamic

The color of an 8 A.M. city is dynamic. When the sun rises at dawn casts golden morning beams onto the sleeping city, skyscrapers disperse vibrant rays of purple and pink sunshine into the bright blue sky. The entire city is busy and alive.

We used pink to portray the reflections of morning sunshine on the skyscrapers and highways.

Blue: tranquil, mysterious

The color of a 12 A.M. city is tranquil. At night, when lights dim down, the city goes quiet and nature prevails. Rivers flow quietly into the sapphire ocean, stars blink in the dark blue sky, and owls hide in the green forests.

We used blue to portray the nights of cities, the forests, and the ocean.
